Health and Nutrition
Under the Health and Nutrition sector of intervention there are three components, which are Health, Nutrition and Pregnant & Lactating Women.
1. Health
The component of health comprises five major activities as listed below:

Medical services in collaboration with the ecclesiastical and government centers;

Promotion and awareness creation to prevent the spread of pandemic and other diseases;

Provision of health care facilities;
-
Immunization of people in collaboration with the ecclesiastical and government centers.

Construction of health centers and health extension workers’ residence.
2. Nutrition
The component of nutrition comprises eight major activities as listed below:

Train on Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture;

Training on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF);

Training on adolescent nutrition
-
Training on Community-led Complementary Feeding and Learning Session (CCFLS)
-
Provision of nutritious dense vegetable seeds
-
Promotion of Keyhole and back yard gardens
-
Demonstration on food preparation, preservation and utilization practices
-
Provision of Information, Education & Communication (IEC) and Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) materials.
3. Pregnant and Lactating Women
The component of pregnant and lactating women comprises five major activities as listed below:

Train on Minimum Activities for Mothers and Newborns (MAMAN);

Training on Integrated management of newborn and child illness (IMNCI);
-
Training on Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM);

Training on use of referral slips
-
Provision of referral pads
